This Privacy Policy explains how Daniel Park, a real estate salesperson licensed in Virginia and affiliated with Samson Properties (“I,” “me” or “my”), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information through danielprealty.com (the “Site”) and through inquiries you send me from the Site. It does not cover information collected by Samson Properties, a multiple listing service or any other third party through their own websites, apps or services; their own privacy policies apply.
Who is responsible for your information

All real estate services are provided through Samson Properties, which supervises my real estate activities and may keep records of our communications and transactions as required by law.
Information I collect
- Information you give me. Your name, email address, phone number, mailing or property address, what you are looking for (for example, buying, selling, renting or investing), preferred areas, budget, timing, preferred language, and anything else you choose to include in a form, email, call or text.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, the Site’s hosting provider and software automatically receive standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the referring page, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the Site.
- Information collected by embedded services. Some pages load content from third parties, such as Google Maps and Google Fonts. Those providers may receive your IP address and set their own cookies, and they handle that information under their own privacy policies.
Please do not send sensitive information through the Site, such as Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, bank or other financial account numbers, or health information. I do not ask for it through the Site and do not knowingly collect it there.
How I use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the real estate services you request.
- To send you resources you ask for, such as the Buyer’s Guide, Seller’s Guide, a home valuation or a rental analysis.
- To schedule showings, tours, consultations and other appointments, and to follow up about your inquiry.
- To send occasional updates by email if you ask to receive them. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.
- To operate, maintain and secure the Site, including preventing spam, fraud and misuse.
- To comply with legal, licensing, regulatory and brokerage record-keeping requirements, and to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
I do not use your personal information to make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects, such as decisions about housing eligibility, tenant screening or pricing.
How I share your information
I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. I share personal information only as described below:
- My brokerage. Samson Properties, which supervises my real estate activities and keeps records as required by law.
- Service providers. Companies that help me run the Site and my business, such as website hosting, form, email, phone, calendar and document providers, and productivity tools (which may include AI-assisted tools). They process information on my behalf to provide their services.
- Parties to a transaction you ask me to help with. For example, lenders, settlement or title companies, attorneys, inspectors, appraisers, other agents, landlords or property managers. I share only at your direction or as reasonably needed to carry out the transaction you requested.
- Legal and safety reasons. To comply with law, a subpoena, court order or request from a regulator (including the Virginia Real Estate Board), or to protect the rights, property or safety of you, me or others, including to prevent fraud.
- Business changes. If my business or brokerage affiliation changes, records may be transferred as permitted by law and brokerage rules.
- With your consent. In any other case, only with your permission.
Calls, text messages and email
If you give me your phone number through the Site, you agree that I may call or text you at that number about your inquiry and the services you requested.
- Your consent is not a condition of buying, selling or renting any property or of receiving any service.
- I do not send automated marketing text messages or prerecorded marketing calls without your separate, express written consent.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop text messages, reply STOP (or QUIT, CANCEL, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE or OPT OUT). Reply HELP for help. You may also opt out at any time by calling or emailing me. I honor opt-out requests promptly and as required by law.
- Unless you ask me to contact you at other times, I contact you only between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. in your local time zone.
- Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
- You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting me. Even if you unsubscribe, I may still send messages about an active transaction or your account.
Cookies, analytics and “Do Not Track”
The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies that it needs to work, such as spam protection on forms. Accessibility preferences you choose with the Accessibility Options button are stored only in your own browser and are not sent to me.
I may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand in aggregate how visitors use the Site. If they are in use, those tools may set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (opens in a new tab). I do not currently use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or similar technologies for targeted advertising.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. There is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals, so the Site does not currently respond to them. Because I do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal to opt you out of. If that ever changes, I will treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out request. Third-party services embedded in the Site, such as Google, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites, as described in their own privacy policies.
Your privacy choices and rights
Wherever you live, you may ask me to:
- confirm whether I have personal information about you and give you access to it;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete your personal information, except information I must keep under law, licensing rules or brokerage record-keeping requirements;
- give you a copy of the personal information you provided to me, in a portable format; and
- stop sending you marketing messages.
Residents of states with consumer privacy laws, such as Virginia, Maryland and California, may have additional rights under those laws where they apply.
How to make a request. Email danielparkrealty@gmail.com or call 202-579-5231. I may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may use an authorized agent, but I may ask for proof of the agent’s authority. I will respond within 45 days. If I need more time, up to another 45 days, I will let you know why. I will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
Appeals. If I decline your request, you may appeal by emailing danielparkrealty@gmail.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. I will respond in writing within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, Virginia residents may contact the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia at oag.state.va.us (opens in a new tab) or 1-800-552-9963.
How I protect your information
I use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to the Site. No website, email or electronic transmission is completely secure, however, and I cannot guarantee the security of information sent over the internet. If a security breach affects your personal information, I will notify you as required by applicable law.
Protect yourself from wire fraud. I will never send or change wiring instructions by email or text message. Before you wire any money, always confirm the instructions by calling your settlement or title company at a phone number you have verified independently, not one from an email.
How long I keep information
I keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy. After that, I delete it or remove identifying details. Some records must be kept longer to meet legal, licensing or brokerage record-keeping requirements, which can last several years after a transaction.
Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given me personal information, contact me at danielparkrealty@gmail.com and I will delete it.
Links to other websites
The Site links to other websites, such as Google reviews, social media, HUD and my brokerage. I am not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites. Please review their privacy policies.
Visitors outside the United States
The Site is intended for people in the United States and is operated in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I will change the effective date at the top of this page. If I make a material change, I will also post a notice on the Site. Changes apply only to information collected after the change takes effect, unless you agree otherwise.
